We can't wait for you to discover this neighborhood! We're located walking and biking distance to some of Orlando's favorite restaurants, bars, and music venues (but far enough that noise is never an issue). The house is located a few blocks into the residential neighborhood between vibrant Mills50 and hip Audubon Park Garden District. The Mills50 business area features incredible, family-owned restaurants and shops, as well as some of the city's favorite bars and businesses. Hot-spots include BBQ and taco favorite, Pig Floyd's; Latin-Asian fusion taco restaurant, Tako Cheena; 10Ten Brewing Company; Quantum Leap Winery; local favorite music venue, Will's Pub; New American neighborhood restaurant, The Strand; neighborhood cocktail bar, Guesthouse; and many more. Just up the road, Audubon Park is known for housing Orlando's first indoor farmer's market, East End Market; a nationally known beer parlour, Redlight Redlight; a bike-themed breakfast spot, Bikes, Beans, and Bordeaux; beautiful Leu Gardens, and much, much more!
Guest Access
You have full 24-hour access to your private garden cottage detached from the main house, as well as the patio with table and chair set (recommended for breakfast, lunch, or sundowners!). Guests have access to a washer and dryer located in the main house's laundry room (through separate back entrance) upon request.
Good to know
Modern and airy, this space is ideal for both weekend getaways as well as longer stays. It includes a full bathroom with tub/shower; a bedroom with a closet and a new queen-size bed; a living room with a Roku TV, record player, and queen-size sleeper sofa; and a full kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove, oven, toaster, sink, and kitchen island with stools. Essential dishes, cookware, and ingredients (salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, sugar, etc.) are also provided. Guests are welcome to enjoy the year-round fabulous Florida weather on the patio just outside the cottage, as well as a smaller patio with a fire pit. This garden cottage is located 5 to 10 minutes by car to Downtown Orlando, Advent Health Hospital, Winter Park, and Rollins College; 20 to 35 minutes to Universal, Disney, UCF, and Orlando International Airport (MCO); 35 minutes to Wekiva Springs; and 60-70 minutes to Cocoa Beach and New Smyrna Beach. Various restaurants and shopping can be accessed within a 15-20-minute walk or 5-10-minute bike ride.
Other Details to Note
Access to lots of hot water and great water pressure, but please note that shower can take 2-3 minutes to warm up, and the sinks a little bit longer.

BY CAR We are conveniently located minutes from I-4 and 408; 5-10 min to Downtown Orlando, Florida Hospital, and Winter Park; 20-30 min to Universal, Disney, and UCF; 1 hour to Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center. On-street parking is always available in front of the house. BY APP Uber and Lyft are great ways to get around and generally shows up in 3-6 minutes. (Use Uber code fzniw for $15 towards your first ride if you're a new user.) BY BIKE Guests have access to two bicycles upon request as the neighborhood is very bikeable and close to citywide trails. BY PUBLIC TRANSIT We are located half a mile from four different bus stops with direct connection to Lynx Central Station in Downtown Orlando, where you can get on regional Lynx buses, the free Lymmo downtown circulator, SunRail commuter rail, and grab a ZipCar.
